I am a Masters Level Special Education and Therapeutic Consultant with over two decades of experience working with families, school districts, and a variety of mental health agencies. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy from Lesley University in 2005. I completed the Federation for Children with Special Needs Training in Boston in 2008. Concurrently, while building my practice I held positions as a School Psychologist, Clinical Director, Behavior Specialist, and Learning Specialist at secondary schools, as well as at the collegiate level.
I provide consultation and advocacy to families struggling to navigate the special education and mental health systems. I deliver an in-depth review of students and make recommendations for appropriate programs and placements. I also hire, place, and supervise specialized staffing for families through in-home supports that may not otherwise be available (ie: therapeutic nannies, respite, and in home skills trainers..)
I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with a purpose, and always striving for life changing outcomes. When you work with me, you can expect a collaboration with transparency and consistency.
